The Riyadh Hospital and Research Center (KFSHRC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cleveland Clinic, a leading global nonprofit academic medical center, to collaborate on clinical, operational, educational, and research initiatives related to autism and neuroscience. This new step highlights KFSHRC’s commitment to expanding its international partnerships to achieve medical excellence and innovation in patient care.

The MoU was signed at KFSHRC’s headquarters in Riyadh by H.E. Dr. Majid Alfayyadh, CEO of KFSHRC, and Dr. Tomislav Mihaljevic, CEO and President of Cleveland Clinic.

The agreement outlines the parties’ intent to establish a long-term collaborative framework in the fields of autism and neuroscience.

It includes the formation of dedicated project teams tasked with jointly evaluating and prioritizing partnership opportunities to strengthen KFSHRC’s role in delivering specialized healthcare services.

This partnership aligns with KFSHRC’s overarching strategy to build effective global collaborations focused on knowledge exchange and capacity building, thereby promoting advances in research, education, and professional development.

The initiative falls under the Health Sector Transformation Program, one of the Vision 2030 initiatives, aimed at ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare with a strong emphasis on prevention.
