Due to the ongoing war in Israel, grants have increased for all soldiers and seniority in particular plays an important role in the amount of the grant. Most of the time, soldiers do not know how much and when they will receive this money in their account.
Entrepreneurs Yonatan Slouk, from the startup Yotpo, Dor Weiser, software developer for the cyber company Sysdig and Alon Pinchas, CEO of the consulting company WeCcelerate have developed a new application that allows you to know when the grant is supposed to arrive in the reservists' bank account and what the amount will be.
The grant calculator was created by UX/UI designer Jordan Givoni. Reservists simply enter their service dates to find out when the money will be paid to them. "Our goal is to meet the needs of soldiers and collect the most relevant information so that reservists and their families can know the amount of subsidy to which they are entitled. Along with these developments, we are attentive to the requests of reservists and update the calculator to be as functional as possible,” the entrepreneurs said.
Currently, nearly 300,000 reservists have been mobilized to protect the country, while an additional 50,000 could be called up in anticipation of a large-scale operation in Lebanon.
