The Emirates launch the first camel milk with honey

Camelicious has unveiled the United Arab Emirates' first camel milk sweetened with honey, introducing an entirely new product category to the country's dairy market. Naturally sweetened with real honey and containing no added sugar, the new beverage is designed to appeal to consumers looking for healthier and more natural alternatives to traditional flavored milk.

Packaged in a convenient 250ml bottle, the drink is intended for breakfast, as a snack, or as a pre- or post-workout beverage. Camelicious highlights the nutritional benefits of camel milk, including its natural source of vitamin C and its reputation for being easier to digest than conventional dairy, responding to the growing demand for products made with natural ingredients.

According to Hesham Yehia, Acting CEO of Camelicious, the launch represents another milestone in the company's innovation strategy.

"Innovation has always been at the heart of our growth strategy. With the launch of the UAE's first Honey Milk, we are creating an entirely new product category while encouraging more consumers to discover the unique qualities of camel milk," he said.

Beyond the product itself, Camelicious aims to strengthen the position of camel milk in both local and international markets. The company believes that today's consumers are increasingly seeking greater transparency about ingredient sourcing while favoring products that combine natural ingredients, convenience, and nutritional value.

This latest innovation also supports the UAE's broader ambitions in food security, agricultural innovation, and local food production. Camelicious notes that camel milk has evolved from a traditional regional product into an internationally recognized dairy category, driven by investments in farming technology, product development, and consumer education.

Founded in 2006 as part of Emirates Industry for Camel Milk & Products, under an initiative inspired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Camelicious now operates the world's largest camel milk production facility. Located in Dubai, the farm is home to nearly 7,000 camels and produces approximately 3 million liters of camel milk annually.

Camelicious Honey Milk is now available at major retailers across the UAE, including Carrefour, Lulu Hypermarket, Union Coop, Spinneys, and Sharjah Coop, as well as through selected online retailers. The company plans to expand distribution further in the coming months.
