Roche Israel, Startup Nation Central and the Sheba Medical Center have announced the selection of the Israeli start-up YuviTal as part of a joint program aimed at identifying medical technologies capable of significantly improving the follow-up and care of women with breast cancer. This initiative, carried out under the Roche for a Better Future innovation platform, reflects the shared ambition of the three institutions to integrate more digital tools into clinical workflows.

YuviTal will receive a direct grant of 50,000 shekels, funding of up to 200,000 shekels to conduct a clinical pilot at the Breast Cancer Institute at Sheba Medical Center, and a one-year membership within ARC, the hospital’s innovation center. This pilot project will allow the company to assess the effectiveness of its solution in a real hospital environment, working in collaboration with Sheba’s oncology teams and Roche Israel’s experts.

The technology developed by YuviTal is based on a digital health layer centered on the continuous collection of real-world data. It analyzes nutritional habits, physical activity, emotional status and a range of physiological signals in order to create an evolving behavioral profile.

Through AI-driven personalization and strong engagement mechanisms, the platform helps patients maintain routines that support their treatment, while giving clinical teams increased visibility into their daily lives. Oncologists gain access to early indicators, behavioral patterns and actionable insights that enable a more proactive and tailored approach.

The program’s partners emphasize the importance of this collaboration. Roche highlights its longstanding commitment to developing innovative treatments for breast cancer and views the Israeli ecosystem as a fertile ground for digital health advancements. Startup Nation Central stresses the central role entrepreneurs play in introducing new practices and transforming clinical processes.

Sheba Medical Center, through ARC, underlines its strategy of integrating emerging technologies directly into clinical units in order to accelerate their validation and deployment.

For YuviTal, this selection represents a major milestone. Its co-founder and CEO, Alon Silberberg, believes that this recognition goes beyond the technological aspect and reflects a broader commitment to supporting both patients and medical teams. According to him, the platform’s ability to bridge the daily experiences of women with their clinical care is a crucial lever for improving outcomes and strengthening both psychological and behavioral support.
