The memorandum notably provides for cooperation in the fields of research and studies, as well as scientific workshops and conferences, as well as the exchange of scientific publications between Rahat and Jerusalem. This unique cooperation in Arab society, will create bridges between communities through culture and science.
"The agreement aims to promote partnership in the intellectual, scientific and cultural fields, to document relations between the two parties through joint activities and programs, to promote the development and social aspects of the Arab community, particularly in the Negev,” said Foad Al Zeadna.
Dr. Samuel Thrope announced that the agreement provides the exchange of information, the organization of seminars, the development of research on mutual issues, as well as the exchanges between Jerusalem and Rahat.
